From ancient fossils just waiting to be found, to the UK’s oldest working oil pump found at the Northwest of the Bay, Kimmeridge Bay will intrigue and delight.

As Kimmeridge Bay’s full time fisherman since the late 1980s Nick Ford works 300 pots using his sub 10 meter catamaran ‘Obsession’.

Bringing in fresh crab and lobster for our guests to enjoy. Nick spends his days and nights between Mupe Rocks and St Alban’s Head. The land and sea are Nick’s whole life and we are incredibly lucky to enjoy the fruits of his labour in the form of sea to fish on plate, often caught and eaten within hours.
